OG Switch Gang

V1 Switch anyone? Just pop an RCM jig in this bad boy and you're good to go, no soldering. Free games, themes, Nintendo bans, you want it, they got it. Here is a showcase of my favorite theme that I have installed. This Windows XP theme really attracts a lot of eyes when booted up, not to mention that clean, nostalgic vibe it gives off. Having this theme on really makes me want to use my switch more often.

Arch Linux

Here I am, on Arch Linux. Archinstall script made things quite simple, however networking was a real pain during this install due to major issues with NetworkManager. After many hours, I finally have a stable, clean setup of Arch Linux running a Cinnamon DE with all the programs I use. Eventually, I will want to switch to a different DE, something more aesthetically pleasing, and I will update this page once again when I do so.

Linux Mint

As a new Linux user, I decided to start my path with Linux Mint as it is the most friendly distro for Windows peasants like myself to begin learning. Here is my first desktop that I have created. I am super excited to move on to more advanced distros, and not to mention use more advanced commands in order to really make full use of the operating system. My switch programming skills/ Data Technician skills are really coming in handy, not to mention spending my entire life on a computer; learning this system feels as fun as modding a fresh Skyrim play through.

Back 2 School! - From Data Technician to Cyber Security!

Finally time to quit the old 9-5 again, and hit the books. I have been accepted into a Cyber Security program at a university that I have been to previously and super excited to enter this field as I have a strong passion for this topic. Not to mention, my previous field of Data Technician really assists me big-time in this role. From physical layer knowledge (switches, cabling, etc) and a basic understanding of switch programming I am sure I will be able to finish this program without too much struggle, and remain in the field for a long time.

Mastering Linux

As windows becomes more and more dystopian by release, I have decided now is the perfect time to begin learning and mastering Linux, as it also applies to my field of work. I have decided to start with Linux mint, as it is the most user-friendly distro, and eventually will work my way to fedora and arch. The number #1 spyware on our devices is windows, and it is about time the general populace learns to part ways with this operating system, as every edition seems to become worse. Since I have practice programming switches, it seems I am learning Linux quite fast, and with the help of a word document that I have created personally, I am able to refer to commands quickly and efficiently.

Project: Cryptozens is a go! - Nov.14/2021

Today I completed my own personal NFT, Cryptozens aka crypto citizens. I learned a ton while creating these, from pixel art, to basic python coding, and other interesting skills. Results will be posted on my homepage by clicking the photograph. These Cryptozens will be available for minting on opensea, and quantity will be limited to 9,679 unique Cryptozens. Here is a step by step guide on how I did it.

1 - Create PNG sprites for different categories, (head, shirt, pet, etc...)

2 - Decide on % odds for each sprite in each different category.

3 - Run Visual Studio Code, compile, and randomly generate 9,679 Cryptozens with varying traits and rarities.

Created my first site! - Nov.13/2021

Super excited to share photographs of my card collections and car here on my own personal website, as well as discuss my interests. This is something I have always wanted to delve into, and recently because of covid-19 I have had the time to actually spend some time and work on this project. Very excited for what I can do with this domain, since I managed to catch a pretty nice one ;), proxsi.net has a nice ring to it eh?
